Caring for Your Heart!
What are you doing for your heart, specifically your heart health? There is more to heart health than your
cholesterol and triglyceride levels. These blood levels are the things that you hear of all the time on
TV from different sources. They are factors that are out of your control. Its true that hyperlipidemia
may be hereditary. This is not something you can change but you can take medication for. You can alter your diet
and eat plently of fruits and vegetables. This healthy diet gives your body the essential ingredients
that it needs to function properly. You can get moderate excercise, this keeps your joints flexible and
keeps your circulation going. This idea of personal responsibility for one's helath is not only for yourself but if
if you are a caregiver it also effects those you are taking care of. It is hard to think on your own health,
but it is all related.
