I Will Never Put You
In A Nursing Home!

How often have you heard someone vow this to their loved one? This statement is usually meant with the utmost sincerity. Many families try keeping their loved one at home and, often times, it works. Sometimes the enormity of caring for a loved one at home becomes to overwhelming, and that’s where we can help. Caring People Services can help your loved one a few hours a day or 24 hours seven days a week. Most families do not want to allow others into care for their loved one but often receiving help is the necessary solution.

Well its taken three months but we are, finally, going to get our newsletter off the press this month. Do or die. My partner, Carolyn, and I have been so busy running the business that it has taken awhile to get started writing the newletter. Carolyn and I have been in business for six plus years and have learned quite a lot. Many families that we have cared for are happy to pass what has or has not worked for them onto us. Our advertising guru, Clay Campbell, has told us we needed to give some of our tips out to others. I was able to learn more about caring for others through my experience with my mother-in-law for a period of time before she passed away. Carolyn has also learned about the importance of caring for others through working with several family members. She still to this date is taking care of her mother and father in law. The most important thing we do to help other families is to share our resources. Many programs are available, if you just know the right question to ask and who to ask. We try to direct families to these different programs whenever possible.

Upon being contacted by families, the first thing we do is go out and visit the family to figure out what we can do to assist the family. One of Caring Peoples Services’ main goals is to help their clients remain independent. This visit informs families about our business and also informs the families about our services that we could provide in their individual situation. Many families never call us again. Others remember that information and it may be months or even years and we get a call to help. We give information about safety bars and other tips. We have posted several links on our website that might give you useful information.
